Let's start off by saying that it's your problem for choosing to play a Ninja. Don't let it become your team's problem. If you're rolling one because you're butthurt about dying to asura or simply want to convince yourself that you're "trolling" other players to assuage your fear of being inadequate then playing Ninja isn't the way to go. Go play MW3 or Runescape or something instead.

Required Skills

Reverse Tatami level 1 - Higher levels unnecessary. For emergency use - protects against ranged physical damage.
Mist Slash level 5 - necessary prereq
Shadow Jump level 5 - necessary prereq
Shadow Slash level 5 - necessary prereq
Soul level 5 - Required state for use of Final Strike. Boosts STR, higher levels shorten cast time.
Final Strike level 10 - self-explanatory
Ninpou Training level 5 - necessary prereq
Cast-Off Cicada Shell level 5 - Ninja's primary protection spell

Leftover Skill points: 21
Select your skills carefully to suit your playstyle.

Throw Shuriken: Useful for inflicting statuses and triggering the double Final Strike damage effect of Glorious Huuma Shuriken.
Throw Huuma Shuriken: 3X3 splash attack. Swap to a status weapon/mailbreaker mid-cast to inflict effects upon stacked enemies.
Illusionary Shadow level 9 - Level 10 unnecessary. Cockblocks 5 physical hits instead of 3.
Water Escape Technique level 7/8/10 - Not recommended. Use on spawn points, chokes and underneath stacks without Land Protector to slow movement and reduce AGI slightly.
Falling Ice Pillar 4/5 - Not recommended. Choosing to specialize in the Water branch of Ninja magic leaves you with no skill points for use in the Throwing branch. Largely ineffective due to Final Strike ninja's low MATK and availability of freeze immunity in Battlegrounds.
Ninpou Training - Increases SP regeneration from SP healing items(unconfirmed if functioning on WoonRO).

Things to note in Battlegrounds.

As a Ninja, if you are part of the initial batch of players that started a BG round, it's highly likely that you will be Guild Master due to some fucked-up class priority system. But that isn't so bad. Ninja have E.calling potential on an attacking team. With good reducts, a quick potting finger/ROMedic, some common sense and a Smokie/Frilldora, a Ninja can penetrate shitty to semi-decent precasts easily to position himself for an Emergency Call. This element of 'stealth' is pretty much the reason why having an Alice/Peco Peco/Loli Ruri/Sohee Cute Pet is not recommended. A Ninja needs to keep himself from being targeted often despite having above-average survivability in a common Battlegrounds setting. Your skills Cicada Shell and Illusionary Shadow helps you stay alive longer and cockblocks hits from many physical skills, which can prevent your Emergency Call from being interrupted. Use Frilldora's Cloaking skill and Hiding from Smokie to help get you behind their defense. Do not forget to cooperate with friendly SinXs and Stalkers if necessary, and pass the leadership should you need to.

You should target enemy Biochemists, Snipers, High Wizards, bad Champions and assorted bullshit that actually drop to your shitty damage. Run/stay hidden from decent High Priests and Professors, Dispell, Spider Web and Decrease Agility can quickly make your BG experience hell. Expect to use Frilldora/Smokie a lot to camp for targets.

If enemies are not dropping to you for some reason, you aren't completely useless yet. Here are some ways to make yourself remotely useful and protect your ego in turn. All this is generally common sense, though I figured I'll say it anyway for those few of you who are clueless.

Use Water Escape Technique, Throw Shuriken and Throw Huuma Shuriken to hinder the enemy. Buying time with movement slowing and statuses can mean a lot to your team, unless they're sitting at the same spot and waiting for them to come for them. Breaking armours with a Mailbreaker can quickly cripple certain classes.

Many players in Battlegrounds have the intelligence of an RO monster. Meaning that if they're an offensive class they'll mostly come after you. So do what you would do in PvM, mob them and take them for a ride as they try in vain(hopefully) to kill you so they can lengthen their e-penis. Half of SinXs, snipers, smiths and champs in BG will come after you, so have fun.

Reverse Tatami is not as awesome a skill as people make it out to be. In many situations, it may turn out to be a death sentence. Refrain from relying on Tatami to protect you from Acid Demonstration. The best protection against AD is to prevent yourself from being targeted in the first place, though it is perfectly possible to survive non-bragi'd AD by switching that huuma you love to default to a Cranial/Heavy Valk long enough enough to escape/hide behind your teammates.

Due to a Ninja's low HP pool, you have to rely on Cicada/Illusionary Shadow to save yourself from decent Sonic Blows.

Some see Final Strike as a sort of counterpart to Asura Strike. Here are the differences and similarities.

Both are burst damage skills. OK at least Final Strike sort of is.
Both are melee attacks.
Both need you to pot like hell after use.
Both skills put their casters in vulnerable positions after use.
Both are neutral property.
One consumes HP, the other consumes SP.
One is classified as ranged physical, the other as melee physical.
One has a range of 5 cells, with its counterpart hitting only up to 2 cells away.
One lacks a cast time, the other has one.
One has no cast delay, the other does.
One is affected by STR, the other being affected by ATK.
One is shit on by DEF, the other pierces it.
One of them sucks, the other doesn't.

Pre-renewal Final Strike does not take into account your ATK into its damage calculation. It uses your STR*40+HP*0.8 as damage, before damage modifiers, defense calculation, reducts etc. So don't bother refining your Huuma unless you're going for the Slaughter bonus of Glorius Huuma Shuriken. And you'll probably want to keep it at +8 max, the 1 second cast delay from heal autocast from +9 and above can get you killed, and to be honest, it's not worth the badges to make. It's also permanently Neutral property, so save those converters for your sinx and stop defaulting your huuma. After subtracting 40% damage from WoE reduction in Battlegrounds you're left with about enough damage to kill a couple of PvM mast3rs who forgot to gear before they joined Battlegrounds, and perhaps a couple of other random baddies.

If we're done here and you're still reading, I hope you're not considering playing a Ninja. But if you're still gonna use one in Battlegrounds, I hope that my guide has helped you in some way. May we meet on the Battlegrounds field sometime, and don't forget the most important perk of playing a Ninja. We may be underpowered, unwanted and expensive to play, and we have Gravity to thank for all that, but in the right hands, Ninja is a fucking fun class to play.

Peace Out!
